2. Processing of Personal Data

Personal data is any information that can be related to you personally. This includes, for example, your name, contact details, and the IP address of your computer.

Inquiry by Email, Phone
If you contact us by email, phone, or fax, your inquiry, including all personal data arising therefrom (name, email address), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, insofar as your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this was requested.
The data you send to us via contact inquiries will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g., after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
If we use commissioned service providers for individual functions of our offering or wish to use your data for advertising purposes, we will always carefully select and monitor these service providers and inform you in detail about the respective processes. We will also state the defined criteria for the storage period.

Visiting our Websites
When using the websites for informational purposes, i.e., merely viewing them without registering and without otherwise providing us with information, we process the personal data that your browser transmits to our service provider’s server. The data described below is technically necessary to display our websites to you and to ensure stability and security, and must therefore be processed by us. No evaluation for marketing purposes takes place in this context. We have not implemented any tracking services on our website.

Online Presence on Social Media
We currently maintain a company profile on LinkedIn to communicate with customers, interested parties, and users active there and to inform them about our services and products.
The information in these data protection notices refers to the processing of your personal data in connection with your visit to our company profile on LinkedIn, insofar as this is carried out by us.

In addition, some personal data is processed under joint responsibility with LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (hereinafter: “LinkedIn”). We process your personal data within the scope of our LinkedIn company profile for the following purposes:

a) Contact and Interaction
We process your personal data when you contact us via our company profile by using the functions provided for this purpose (e.g., follow, messages, comment function, posts, “like” button, forwarding/sharing) or by accessing the content we provide.
If you contact us in this way, we process your directly visible personal data (usually: username, profile picture, message content, possibly including photos contained therein, date and time of interaction) to respond to your contact. We also process your personal data for the external presentation of the company and for informing about and optimizing our products and projects.
The legal basis for the processing is Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in contacting (potential) contractual partners, interested parties and applicants, external presentation, and in informing you about our products and projects.
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b) GDPR, if your contact via LinkedIn should be for the purpose of concluding or fulfilling a contract with us.

b) Evaluations for statistical purposes using Page Insights
For the purpose of demand-oriented design and continuous optimization of our offering on our social media company profile, we use Page Insights. When you visit or interact with our company profile, we receive anonymized information from the provider in the form of statistics about our visitors and their interaction on our company profile (Page Insights).
We process the data with the help of Page Insights for the purpose of optimizing our offering and ensuring more effective communication with (potential) contractual partners, interested parties, and applicants.
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving our offering on our company profile.
The processing is carried out under joint responsibility with LinkedIn in accordance with Article 26 GDPR. The essence of the agreement for joint controllers is provided by LinkedIn here: https://legal.linkedin.com/pages-joint-controller-addendum.

We generally process your personal data only in Germany and in the European Union.
LinkedIn also transmits personal data to countries outside the EU and the European Economic Area (“third countries”). Further details can be found in their privacy policy (https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy?trk=homepage-basic_footer-privacy-policy).

We delete data stored for the aforementioned reasons if it is no longer required for the purposes we pursue and no other legal bases, in particular statutory or contractual retention periods, apply. If you contact us via provided functions (e.g., comment function), we process your data for a maximum of as long as it is visible to us. You can determine the visibility yourself by removing your respective data, e.g., by deleting your comment on our LinkedIn page or your rating.

Bookly Pro Appointment Booking Plugin
On our website, you have the option to book appointments with us. For this appointment booking, we use the WordPress plugin “Bookly Pro”. The manufacturer’s privacy policy can be found at: https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/privacy/.
In order to book an appointment with us this way, we ask you to enter various data into the booking form. The data you enter will be used for the planning, execution, and, if necessary, follow-up of the desired appointment, to arrange the meeting you requested and to contact you afterwards in case of appointment changes or impediments. We will send your booking confirmation for the selected appointment to the email address you provided. In addition to general website usage data, the following personal data is processed by us:
Your name and company affiliation, if applicable, the names of your accompanying persons, your professional phone number (voluntary) and email address, your desired date and time.
We store the data you enter until you request its deletion or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
The legal basis for this processing is, according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, our legitimate interest in offering you a user-friendly, time-saving, and advanced way to book appointments with us. If you do not wish to use this option, please feel free to call us or send us an email.

3. External Hosting

This website and the data of the Bookly Pro Plugin are hosted by an external service provider (hoster). The personal data collected on this website is stored on the hoster’s servers exclusively in Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the operator in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
The use of the hoster is for the purpose of fulfilling the contract with our potential and existing business partners (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast, and efficient provision of our information and service offering by a professional provider (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
Our hoster will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfill its service obligations and will follow our instructions regarding this data.

4. Data Security

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

5. Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties/Recipients

We treat your personal data strictly confidentially. It will only be transmitted to third parties or recipients if

  • you have given your explicit consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR,
  • the disclosure is necessary according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR for the protection of the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in the non-disclosure of your data,
  • there is a legal obligation for the data transfer according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c) GDPR, and/or
  • this is necessary according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR for the fulfillment of a contractual relationship with you.

6. Cookies

Only technically necessary cookies are used on our website:

  • a so-called session cookie, which is deleted after closing the browser. This serves to assign various browser requests to a session.
  • A language recognition cookie with a storage period of one day

The legal basis for this is Section 25 para. 2 point 2 TDDDG.

By changing the settings in your internet browser, you can deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies. Already stored cookies can be deleted at any time. This can also be done automatically. If cookies are deactivated for our website, it may no longer be possible to fully use all functions of the website.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time with effect for the future. A current version is available on the website. Please visit the website regularly and inform yourself about the applicable privacy policy.

8. Your Data Subject Rights

Within the framework of legal requirements, you have the right to:

  • request confirmation as to whether we process personal data concerning you; if this is the case, you have the right to information about this processing.
  • request the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and the completion of incomplete personal data concerning you.
  • request the erasure of personal data concerning you.
  • request the restriction of processing of personal data concerning you.
    receive personal data concerning you, which you have provided, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to transmit it to another controller (data portability).

If you have given us consent, you also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. All data processing that we have carried out until your withdrawal remains lawful in this case.


Right to object on a case-by-case basis:
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e) GDPR (performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority) or on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR (balancing of interests); this also applies to profiling based on these provisions.
If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Objection to data processing for direct marketing purposes:
We also process your personal data for direct marketing purposes. You have the right to object at any time to the processing of data concerning you for the purpose of such advertising; this also applies to profiling, insofar as it is related to such direct marketing.
If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process your personal data for these purposes.


You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, particularly in the EU member state or federal state of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
